Canadian Powder Skiing Adventures is a small, guest oriented business. We are
committed to providing you with a unique experience

we accomplish this is by involving highly qualified
and very personable guides. The three people
most involved in our operation are:

Canadian Powder Skiing Adventures. He is an
extremely competent and avid back country skier
who lives in Golden, B.C.. His ski tour resume
includes the second ski traverse of the Northern
Monashee range, the Bugaboos to Rogers Pass
ski traverse, and an expedition in the Waddington
Range. He has his Canadian Avalanche ski operators
Level 2 certification and has been teaching avalanche skills training courses for the last 5 years. A former ski patroller
at Kicking Horse Resort Chuck has his outdoor
emergency care certification and lots of first
aid experience. He also has a degree in Kinesiology
from the University of Calgary with a major
in Outdoor pursuits.

industry for 15 years. He has worked at resorts
in 4 different countries, with experience ranging
from repairing ski equipment to driving snowcats.

Ian Kirschner
Ian Kirschner is an avid backcountry skier and outdoorsmen. He currently splits his time between working for us, working for Chatter Creek catskiing, and Mistaya lodge ski touring. He has an extensive ski touring resume and has completed several ski traverses in remote and heavily glaciated terrain. Ian has a passion for the outdoors and it shows in his guiding. Ian has lived in Golden for 7 years, he is a former senior ski patroller at Kicking Horse resort, and his certifications include CAA level 2, and Outdoor Emergency care.
Peter Buchholz (UK office)
Pete looks after the sales and marketing in the UK and is a great source of information for skiing in Canada. Since his first skiing holiday aged 5 years old and after many years of skiing in Europe; including a season or two in Chamonix, Les Deux Alpes, St.Anton and Meribel to name but a few, Peter has finally come to understand why Canada is his number one place to go skiing. Peter has spent the last five seasons working as a ski patroller and aspiring guide both in Canada and also in New Zealand. Originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, Peter has completed what is no doubt a first for a Jersey boy and passed his Canadian Avalanche Association level 2; not bad for someone who grew up in surf shorts on a beach!
